The Band

The Mojos are of one of Yorkshire's finest Rock covers bands, specialising in Functions, Weddings and Special Events.
Experienced and versatile musicians, this four piece party band have achieved an extensive catalogue of covers, specialising in British Rock/Indie. Andy Bowen
Andy began playing guitar in 1993, influenced initially and still most notably, by Brian May and the finger style playing of Mark Knopfler and Lindsey Buckingham. Later influences inc. Jeff Beck, George Benson, John Frusciante and the funk rhythms of Nile Rodgers.
Andy graduated from Leeds College of Music in 2000 and has played in various original bands, most notably The Asylum Seekers and atl@ntika. He has worked with various musicians inc. Alistair Griffin and Trevor Bolder (David Bowie, Wishbone Ash, Uriah Heep).
Andy co-founded The Mojos in 2002 and shares lead 
vocal duties.

John Greenwood

John bought his first bass guitar 23 years ago.  His fluid, fast and seemingly effortless finger-style draws on a range of varied musical influences, funk (Bernard Edwards), blues (John McVie) and rock (John Entwhistle).  John was invited to join The Mojos in 2006, he has two decades of experience working with bands across the North of England and has contributed bass, guitars and vocals to various additional musical projects. His international credits include tours of Holland, Germany and the Southern USA.  In addition to playing bass, John shares lead vocal responsibilities.

Phil began playing drums at the age of 11 and went on to study at Leeds College of Music to gain a degree in Music Production and Performance. His unique drum style influenced by the likes of Jon Bonham (led Zeppelin) Red Hot Chilli Peppers Chad Smith and Stuart Copeland of The Police blends funk and rock to bring a dynamic  characteristic to the bands overall sound. Phil is one of the original members of The Mojos, co-forming the band in 2002.

David Soulsby
David began playing keyboards at the age of 14, and went on to study at Leeds College of Music. David has played with several successful local bands including Apocalips, Circadian Rhythm, Satori, The Beatnicks and atl@ntica, before joining The Mojos in 2009. One of David's attributes is his attention to detail, finding the right sound and adapting his style for each song.
